Art Show

I went to my niece's first art show and was very impressed by the hard work, dedication and talent she has.  She made things I have never even tried.  Everything from pottery, jewelery, ornaments, drawings, masks, paintings and recycled cans.  I am so proud of her and I can't wait to attend the next show.

Words of Picasso

How old were you when you felt the pressure or stress of living your life, the boredom of a job or responsiblity of just being an adult?  My mom would remind me not to rush to adulthood but I could not understand why this was so important.
I remember laying in bed and dreaming of all the possibilities that life had to offer.  Now ~  I lay in bed and set the alarm clock wishing I had time to dream again. 

Elf on the Shelf

Ernie our Elf reports back to Santa Clause about all the good deeds a child has done.  He moves every night to a new location.  He currently is back at the North Pole with Santa and will return around Thanksgiving.

I can't wait til spring arrives and the green starts to fight it's way thru last year's leaves.
